Airbus X Ext Brakes
« on: March 06, 2013, 07:05:54 pm »
The recent release has a function which once the chocks are set releases the parking brake. This produces a conflict with GSX which insists that the parking brake is reset. AES has been modified to recognise chocks set. Could this be done for GSX please?

We haven't said anything about it, but would have to find a way to make it flexible enough, without having to write code just to support one airplane.

Thanks
I understand. I guessed it might be difficult although more than one aircraft has the "chocks in" facility eg PMDG 737NX.

That's not the issue, we already recognize several airplanes with wheel chocks such the NGX, several Captain sim models and the Airbus X too, but as Pushback constraint, meaning GSX will not allow you to start Pushback until you remove the wheel chocks.

This issue with the Airbus X, is that according to your report, it automatically removes Brakes when wheel chocks are applied, and this is a new thing that no other airplane with chocks has ever done before.
