FSX and GSX Clash
« on: May 28, 2013, 01:49:54 pm »

I appreciate that there is probably nothing to be done, but it does annoy me when I have gone through all the ground service features, pushed back only to find FSX an FSX aircraft crashing straight into me on the taxi way.

Why can't FSX recognise that I am also a FSX default aircraft and instruct the other aircraft to hold short while I taxi. This is what normally happens.

Windows 7 Home 64bit - 128GB Crucial M4 SSD - 2TB Master Hard Drive
Intel Core i7 4+4 Core 2600K 3.4Ghz 8MB L3 CACHE - ThermalTake Contac29 Cooler 16GB DDR3 2133Mhz Patriot Viper V3 Red Performance/Gaming RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB PCI-E 3.0 Ready Graphics - FSX Gold - GSX - FS Cabin Crew -ASN SP3

This happens only when you are flying the airplane, but during the pushback, the FSX simulation is not running, so AI doesn't yeld for your airplane.

The easiest solution is to turn off crash with other vehicles, which also has a positive impact on fps.

Jetsetter, I'm sorry but I highly recommend that if you want to enjoy FSX, you go and read a TON of manuals and tutorials, because it seams you know very little about everything..

I could not agree more. It is unbelievable that someone could post so many questions about problems with GSX, and does not know what AI means.

Thank you Virtuali.

I shall treat the other two replies with the contempt they deserve.
