None or very faint sound from ground service vehicles

I am not getting any significant sound from ground service vehicles. If I zoom right in I can just about hear a faint sound, otherwise in normal view there is nothing. I have checked the audio setting which is turned up fully.

Please advise.

If you are using 3rd party camera utilities, it's possible they are altering the true eye position and cause this.

I just tried a different saved airport/parked at the gate and all appears to be fine. I did have to turn the external speaker volume up fairly high though.

Doesn't happen here, and nobody else reported it before, except of course a couple of cases with 3rd party camera add-ons or very strange airports with non-standard altitude such Aerosoft Madeira, which doesn't work at all with GSX, not just the sound.

There's nothing strange about Munich and it's probably the last airport where I would expect any problems, especially the default one.

Note that GSX supports 3D surround sound, which means all its sounds will be made by the speaker according to the correct position in space so, it's possible if your sound setup is configured to support surround sound, but you don't have the corresponding speakers connected, sounds might disappear depending on your position relative to the sound emitter.

My speaker setup is correct. No adjustments have been altered. We'll see how we go.

As I've said, since nobody else has reported it (except for the few cases of using 3rd party camera add-ons), it must be something on your setup, so I tried to guess another possible cause.

What's sure, if something related to your setup, otherwise someone else might have reported it by now. GSX uses OpenAL for sound output, perhaps there's something wrong with your audio drivers OpenAL support or setup.

But my reply about it was useful to understand what the problem might be, regardless if you want to take it seriously or not: the airport used might be a factor, but it shouldn't be Munich.

In my case, the sound issue depends on which 3rd party aircraft I choose. (I forgot which aircraft(s) decrease(s) the GSX sound).
But I can live with it.
