No GSX menu after moving from FSX default KPAE

Hi Umberto!

Two days ago I installed KJFK V2. Since then I cannot get a GSX menu to display when going to an airport position away from the default position at KPAE.

On starting FSX afresh, Ctrl-F12 gives me the menu GSX - Select Parking Facility, presumably because on FSX restart there is no parking position displayed.

If I now chose to move from the default location to Parking G16 at KPAE, the Ctrl-F12 no longer displays the GSX menu. It is then the same at all other airports and parking/stands that I try.

How do I fix this?

Try to enable logging in the Troubleshooting from the GSX Settings page, restart FSX, and do something to have the GSX menu disappear. Then exit and check the Couatl.LOG and Couatl.ERR files that should have been generated in the %APPDATA%\Virtuali folder. Post the content of such files here.

Your Couatl.LOG file doesn't show anything unusual, and your Couatl.ERR doesn't contain any errors since January (the file contains an history, it's never deleted).

Are you sure that you generated the log AFTER the Couatl menu disappeared ? Your log files don't show any problems.

I now recall that whist installing JFKv2, I too hastily answered a menu about having run out of memory on my C: Win7 drive with an 'ignore'.
I shall now add a new disc to my PC and move my existing FSX installtion to it, and uninstall/reinstall JFKv2. This may fix my current problems.

Ouch, that's looks like a serious error, it might surely have caused problems to all our products. Try reinstalling again when you have enough space on your disc.
