Adjusting Parking Position Causes AC to Shoot backwards
« on: March 18, 2019, 02:33:49 am »
Very strange thing happens maybe 10% of the time. When I'm in the gsx menu attempting to adjust the parking position of the plane and gate equipment, the in sim editor is launching, then the plane shoots backwards very quickly away from the gate. The only way to stop it is to press 'Y' and use the "go to airport' function in P3d to reset the plane at the gate.

Haven't been able to figure what causes this, but happens randomly.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

The problem doesn't have anything to do with GSX, and has been discussed so many times on the forum, for example here:

The problem is caused by your joystick which is not calibrated properly in the dead zone. Either calibrate the joystick dead zone correctly, or  remove all the joystick axes from the Slew events from the Control settings of the simulator

I unplug my joysticks when I want adjust positions. Problem goes away (My aircraft were rotating anti-clockwise). Re plug them in when finished.

If you do what I suggest in my last post:

remove all the joystick axes from the Slew events from the Control settings of the simulator

You won't have to do this, ever.

Of course you are right!!
I had never looked for axis in the Slew drop down.
I had removed them all in the normal area as I use Prosim and before that FSUIPC.
