GSX is reading only default AFCAD files,

Hello

After upgrading GSX, the program seems to be reading only FSX default AFCAD, so If I have to change AFCAD´s addon scenery, no changes will be taken into consideration by GSX, even worst if a need to erase default AFCAD airports, GSX said "invalida AFCAD..."

How can I make GSX to read the active GSX?

This started happened during the last upgrading I guess

Try a rebuild of the scenery cache files, located at:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\SceneryIndexes
C:\ProgramData\Virtuali\Couatl

Remove both folders and start FSX again, wait for all caches to be rebuilt.

I have tried that and not working I have even uninstall GSX without result
It seems GSX is only reading default AFCAD
Remember I have my FSX installed on my C drive (and not in program filesx86)

Enable logging in the GSX Setting / Troubleshooting section, then post the Couatl.LOG file.

That's exactly what you are supposed to see. After you enable both options, exit from FSX, start it again, and then you should see a Couatl.LOG file created in the %APPDATA%\Virtuali folder, and you should post it here.

I have a similiar problem. I currently use a couple of custom AFCADs from avsim.

The problem is, that GSX reads the default AFCAD and not the enhanced one I downloaded from avsim.
GSX Customization shows the currently active AFCAD and it reads the default one.

How can I "update" this? I tried rebuilding the mentioned cache, but those two folders somehow don't exist or I somehow can't find them.

Any help is appreciated!  


edit: I found the two folders and after deleting them, GSX now uses the new AFCAD.

I have a similiar problem. I currently use a couple of custom AFCADs from avsim.

It depends how these custom AFCADs are made. GSX requires the AFCAD in use to be self-contained, meaning it should contain the minimum needed for GSX to work ( parkings, nodes and taxiways ) in a single file.

If that AFCAD only *enhances* over the default AFCAD, for example adding just some taxiways, GSX won't use it because it's not self-contained, so it will revert to the default.
