runtime error 440 automation error **not a GSX problem**

im getting a run-time error 440 plus when i click ok to move on,
i get another run-time error from fscopilot error 339.
saying COMPONENT 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered:
a file is missing or invalid.

when downloading gsx i have followed installation guide to the letter.
im running windows and run as admin aswell.
i also have fsinn installed with fscopilot and fscabin crew installed aswell.

also i get notice: failed to create fscopilot.tuner (CWNDFS98MAIN=a427634)



can anyone help plz.

note: i went on fsdt site and downloaded fsx version demo try defore you buy.


i really love what you can and want to buy but i cant get the demo to work, should i buy.

I don't see how these errors have anything to do with GSX. They are clearly fscopilot errors, none of them is generated by GSX.

This is a standard Windows component and, if it was *really* not registered, a LOT of your Windows programs (even non-flightsim related) wouldn't work so, either the message from fscopilot is bogus and the problem is something else, or maybe it's looking for an old/wrong version for your OS.

In any case, none of this does have anything to do with GSX, which doesn't touch any of those components, and its installer doesn't install anything related to it.

do you have any suggestions as to i should do?

im not a computer whizz! and would greatful if someone could guide me
in what to do next,
should i uninstall fscopilot and reinstall it after fsdt?

You can try that.
