Problem With Fatal Errors Occuring
« on: September 25, 2012, 06:13:13 am »
I recently installed FSDT airports for JFK, LAX, ORD, LAX and since then I have been getting the "FATAL ERROR" message and then shutdown of FSX either inflight, at the end, and a few times before startng. Particularly if I have one the new ones in the mix.  I have had GSX installed for a while, no problem.  As I love the "new" airports, I would hate to have to cancel them out.

Has anyone experienced this problem? If so is there a cure for it?

I hope to get some answers from the forum.

If you have a crash without messages, it's nothing related to our airports or GSX.

It's likely your crash is the famous g3d.dll crash, which is the most common one in FSX, and it's usually fixed by installing the latest FSUIPC.

Umberto,
Thanks for your reply, however I don't know what FSUIPC is nor do I have any idea how to update it.  Please help.

FSUIPC is an utility module used by many products, it's not related to GSX (we don't use it) but, it has a feature that prevents g3d.dll crashes, download it from here the FSX version:
