How can i change the AFCAD wich is in use?
« on: March 23, 2012, 09:34:04 pm »
Hello all,
I wanted to change the AFCAD file in use for the Aerosoft Corfu X scenery. I thought i could do this in the Parking Spot Editor but there is only the info wich AFCAD is used but there is no way to change it. BTW it would be great if any other owner of this scenery could tell me wich AFCAD is the correct one to use it with Corfu X. Right now the default one is in use.

Thanks for your help

Alex

well - if You really wanna change the AFCAD - you'll habe to use an AFCAD editor (like the great freeware ADE)

GSX can't change AFCAD's - just customize the behaviour of a the GSX objects for a parking spot

Thanks for the answer but thats not what I mean. I wanted to ask how to change the file directory. So instead of "C/Programm(86)/Microsoft Games/FSX/scenery)602/AFCAD name" to C/Programm(86)/Microsoft Games/FSX/Aerosoft/Corfu X/ AFCAD name.

Sorry if the question was unclear.

Sorry for the late answer (..been on holliday  ;D)

...the "FSX original Afcads can't bei changed - you've to edit them and save to a new path (e.g. ..addonScenery/scenery)

If you*ve got a addon Scenery (e.g. Aerosoft Corfu) it'll have it's own afcad file (normaly on its ../scenery folder - that's the one you have to edit.

But be careful - the must be only ONE AFCAD per airport (not counting the FSX defaults) you can easily check for that whith the free airportScanner

Happy landings
