- Uninstall the Stand-Alone Addon Manger. Reply YES when asked if you want to remove the Addon Manager and the Couatl Engine. Reply YES to both questions.

- Reinstall the the Stand-Alone Addon Manger.

- Launch FSX and check if you ARE being asked permission to run the Addon Manager AND the Couatl program, be sure to reply YES to both

I did exactly what you ask There were buildings but then i changed the aircraft and the buildings are gone.

No, all the aircraft. i started the couatl engine manually and then fsx and choosed my aircraft not the PMDG but hte flyblue a319 and then the airport and then there was a error:

The addon<unknown> had caused the Couatl Scripting Engine to crash. details of the error can be found in appdata/roaming/vituali/Couatl.err.

Sorry, but I don't fully understand your reply: have you tried with a default airplane ? Does it work ?

What do you mean with "no effect", that nothing happens, or that you are still getting that error ? Nobody had it with a default airplane, it as a problem with only some specific airplanes.

In any case, we have an update of the Stand-Alone Addon Manager that should be more tolerant against those problematic airplanes with errors in their aircraft.cfg file, download it again and install it AFTER all the sceneries, and it should work now.

Since i installed the updated standalone manager i get no errors any more but i've still no buildings. I also get no error for missing prepar3D :)

So let's start again from the beginning:

- Do you have BOTH the Addon Manager AND the Couatl menus under the "Addons" menu ?

- Are you sure the Stand-Alone Addon Manager was installed last ? If you reinstall any scenery after it, you have to install it again.

This is likely created by your antivirus:

- Uninstall the Stand-Alone Addon Manager. Reply YES when asked if you want to remove the Addon Manager and the Couatl Engine. Reply YES to both questions.

- TURN OFF your antivirus. Don't just exit from its interface, but turn off the real time protection. Actual wording changes between products, however, it's the option to scan every file that gets open in real time, without user intervention.

- Reinstall the Stand-Alone Addon Manager with the Antivirus TURNED OFF. Don't launch FSX yet.

- Configure the antivirus to exclude the following files from scanning:

YourFSXFolder\bglmanx.dll
YourFSXFolder\fsdreamteam\Couatl\couatl.exe

YourFSXFolder it's usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X, if you installed it in the default folder.

- Now you can turn the antivirus back on, and launch FSX.

- Check you are seeing BOTH the "Addon Manager" menu AND the "Couatl powered products" menu under the "Addons" menu
