Trap/Wire gauge?
« on: March 28, 2011, 06:58:34 pm »
Sometimes after trapping, catching a virtual wire in FSX, the wire gauge displays no data (all zeros). Curious, is this due to sensitivities of the trap/wire gauge being different then the wire zones/location sensitivities in FSX?

Is it possible to tweak the FSX wire/location zones to match the trap/wire gauge or vice versa?

Thanks!

They are "matched" ;) If there is a wire caught, the gauge simply displays its number which is provided by FSX as a variable. The only case where it shows zeros, should be when the gauge was not opened prior to trapping. You need to open it once in order to load it, then it doesn't need to be visible, it works in the background and will show the information about your last trap, regardless if it was visible or not during the trap.

Thanks Neutrino! That is it, I was opening the gauge after trapping and getting zeros.  ;)
