Show Oliver your support, some idiot really screwed things up and now Oliver has announced he may be taking a step back from AES. Please show him your support.

I agree. I posted the same thing at AVSIM and I mostly got negative responses.

IMHO, if you don't love AES, skip this thread. ;D

Oliver walking away from AES would be like Umberto walking away from scenery development, he has too much invested in it.  Anybody who has purchased credits will still need to be supported, and his bread and butter comes from those credits.  Once he rewrites the code to fix the damage done, he'll be back.

Its really a shame that one person can be a tuff guy and hide behind a keyboard an sound off on someone.....And to top it off its about a GAME! How do you explain that?? We all here have something in common, we enjoy airplanes and the areas around it. We do it for many reasons, but we don't go out of way to upset someone! Sure we may get a personallity conflict but for the most part ends up ok!
I tried to respond to the link for Oliver but was told it was closed.....Oliver has done some excellent work for the FS world and to let one person screw it up would be a major lose!

Hang in there Oliver, you have my vote, walk away get some time under your feet, we'll be here waiting for you!!

UPDATE: Geroge from Flytampa said that he contacted Oliver, and we should expect a new AES release by the end of Sept.

KBOS is definetly a must have,my favorite scenary by far ;D
