My PC hangs after I install GSX 3.9. I am trying to figure out why MSFS hangs after loading about 75% (shown by the blue line moving at the bottom of the screen).

My coualt is version 4.8.0.5445 dated 5/29/2024

Is this the correct version.

Also when I run the Couatl64_boot.exe, the message box says the file is corrupt.

If I uninstall GSX, everything runs fine.

The same antivirus bug that blocked the download, is probably corrupting the .EXE as well. That's why the Troubleshooting section at Page 93 of the GSX Manual, starts with an explanation how to configure the antivirus to prevent it to interfere with GSX.

While I still suggest reading the manual anyway, to know the reasons, the short version is:

- Add the whole “Addon Manager” folder to the Antivirus Exclusions.

- Run the Updater again to either Install or Update GSX.
