Hi folks,
The particular airline I replicate in the sim has 737s with built-in airstairs at the front. Is there any way of telling GSX to stop attaching stairs to the front exit so the passengers use the in-built airstairs? I am certain I've seen GSX do that before but don't know how to configure it so that it does it all of the time.
Cheers

The only way I can think of is in the GSX aircraft profile, you have to set the stairs.

Yes, you can do that with an airframe-specific GSX.CFG file, as explained in the chapter Airframe specific Configurations at Page 75 in the Manual.

After you prepared the .CFG for that particular airframe, you should remove the Condition from the Embedded stair, which will turn it into a permanent Airstair so, no matter where you go to and regardless if you extend the Airstair before or after calling GSX, both on Boarding or Deboarding, GSX will always assume you'll use it, and won't call its own stairs.

thank you - how do you "remove the condition" from the embedded stair?

It should be enough to delete the XML expression in the Embedded stair.
