EGPH parking spot
« on: August 31, 2023, 11:19:03 am »
Want to line up ATR 72 with the yellow parking spot T marker.
When i try customise parking option it moves it to correct spot  - but when i come out of editor it goes back to same spot. Am I doing something wrong?
I realise it is lining up with correct door position for all aircraft but this parking spot does not use a jetway.
However front loading door is used by baggage handler. So this may be why.
Airport is Pyreegue EGPH Parking spot 200.ATR 72-600 is Microsoft one.

Its not a big issue - just wondered if i had made an error.
Thankyou for any comments

In the GSX aircraft customization page, which door do you have set to be the main exit.

Thankyou for replying.
The rear left door is the  one where passengers board on the ATR 72.
The front left door is the one where luggage is loaded by the baggage handler using a mobile conveyer  belt.

Yes, I understand that. I'm asking what GSX is showing.

Apologies.New to this.
The aircraft picture has PAX 1,2,3,4.
PAX 1 is showing as the door
PAX 2,3,4 are not doors.
Even though in reality PAX 4 is the door that opens and takes passengers.
Hope that helps

In that case, you'll want to edit the aircraft configuration, so the proper doors are set. Otherwise, PAX 1 door might have been set for a different door. I don't know if that aircraft has a default GSX configuration available for it, but editing it yourself isn't that difficult to do.

Thankyou. Problem sorted.
I can now edit the stop position and it saves ok.
I think i may have had 2 x ini files in the gsx folder.
Need to play about and learn edit mode for other airport items
Thankyou for your assistance.

I just want to clarify that I said airPLANE, not airPORT.
