Internal Aircraft Profiles
« on: April 28, 2023, 10:06:32 pm »
Is there a list somewhere of which aircraft (payware or freeware) are part of GSX's internal profiles?

Thanks in advance.

If you want to know if the loaded airplane is supported internally, the easiest method is select the "Configure Airplane" option in GSX and pay attention what the lines at the top are saying:

- If they say "Internal data" only, and nothing else, it means the airplane is internally supported by GSX, so there's nothing you need to do and it should work correctly.

- If they say "Internal data" AND something in else inside %APPDATA%, it means the airplane is internally supported by GSX, and you have a custom profile you either made or downloaded which is modifying the internal data.

- If they say "Simconnect" AND something in else inside %APPDATA%, it means the airplane is not internally supported by GSX, but it should work thanks to the custom profile, assuming is made correctly,

- If they say "Simconnect" and nothing else, it means the airplane is not usable in GSX, until you make or download a GSX profile for it.

This is very clear, and I'll make a sidenote what to look out for when I'm in an aircraft.

Thank you.
