Gigabyte Aorus Master Z790 motherboard (BIOS F5)
32 GB G-Skill Ram
MSFS 2020 1.31.22.0 (SU12)

After error, I answered the Restart Couatl question with YES
I also ran the FSDT updater. It seemed to stop quickly.
I noticed four "length of data to decrypt invalid" error messages but the updater continued.
I also noticed a "Padding is invalid and cannot be removed" error message.

The installer ended after the "Updating GSX Pro" progress bar reached 100%.

Finally, when I reload the game and try to start GSX, I get an error message that the "COUATL SCRIPTING ENGINE HASN'T STARTED."

What is going on? What do I do?

Try running the FSDT Live Update again, and if you still see the error, choose the option to open the error log, and post it here.

I reran the installer. This time the GSX Main Menu appeared as soon as I clicked "Ready to Fly."
You are a miracle worker. Mille Grazie!
I will keep an eye on it and let you know if it comes back.

I keep getting the error on pushback and have reran the installer. It happens right after I release the parking brakes in the PMDG.  Log attached.

Your error doesn't have anything to do with that has been discussed here. It looks like a scenery bug, like orphaned/overlapping nodes or isolated parking spots or unconnected taxiway paths.

Which scenery are you using ?
