VDGS not showing up at start of flight

Hi all,
1) installed GSX profile file for the airport I use (e.g. flightsim.to ENBR). I can see in the customization menu that the file is recognized by GSX.
2) generate flight plan with simbrief from ENBR to anywhere
3) start free flight at ENBR gate 15
4) GSX menu comes up and shows "simbrief ok"
5) I can start boarding, operate the jetways, call for pushback,... all that works fine

6) the VDGS in front of me - it's there, it looks customized by GSX, but it never shows anything...? From my understanding it should show information on my flight as soon as I start any GSX action on the gate?

Do I miss something...?

Which is the VGDS type used on that gate, exactly ? Not all of them show the Simbrief informations, only the ones with a larger screen.

May I ask how you got it working?
Since some updates ago, I'm sitting at starting gates without the VDGs displaying anything, no matter which type I use.
In the attached sceenshot, you see services running and the Simbrief sync being green, however the VDGS doesn't even display the stand number like it used to.
On arrival, everything displays just fine and on a turnaround it also keeps displaying.
What am I missing?

I've tried each and every display type available but can't get it to show anything unless I activate the gate for arrival.

I think I figured out how to get it working. It will only show up whenever there's a valid simbrief flight plan existing during Couatl startup.
In other words: If I want it to show on initial startup, the only way is generate my flight on simbrief and then restart Couatl. Is that the intended behaviour?

That's not normal, it should be fixed in the next update.
