Since getting GSX recently I have done some aircraft editing, for instance with the Aerosoft DHC6. The results have been frustratingly ineffective, so I downloaded one from Flightsim.to
I have placed this in the folder as advised (Virtuali/Airplanes), where there were already the profiles I had created. On loading up a flight with the DHC6 and from the GSX menu there seems to be nowhere to specify which of the DHC6 profiles to use, mine or the downloaded one. By default it loads mine, but I want to use the other. So I removed mine from that folder (and saved it in a distant drive as backup), but it continues to show my profile. Closing MSFS down doesn't help. On starting again, loading a fresh flight with the DHC6, it still shows my profile under Customize Airplane, and I can't find a way to make it use the downloaded one.
What am I missing here?
