Broken jetways at KATL.

First, it would be best if you said which scenery is that. Default or 3rd party ?

And, in any case, GSX doesn't control or change or improves how the jetway animation system works. It only replace how jetway will look, but they'll still have exactly the same issues/bugs as the default ones because, other than the look, they are working with the default system.

I have this problem too. That is the Asobo KATL that is installed with World Update 2 USA. I thought it was odd that the GSX jetways didn't attach properly to the Fenix when they do everywhere else (that I've tried so far).

Not all gates are affected. At gate C36, quite a bit of the hood extends into the airplane. Gate C40 is okay. Gate C42 has some of the hood extending into the airplane. Gate C55 is the worst one I've seen. Screenshot attached. Part of the actual jetway penetrates the airplane.

The problem is unrelated to GSX, here's C55 at KATL with GSX Jetway replacement DISABLED, showing the default Asobo Jetway.
