This leave us with the FSDT registry key hasn't been set by the FSDT installer, which of course is not normal, since it should always be able to set it. Have you checked if the key is there, AFTER the installation ?

You are looking at the GSX folder, which is not what I said to remove and to check. The key I said to remove is:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\FSDreamTeam\root

You said you removed the whole FSDreamTeam key, which means it should have been removed but now, to see if it's back ( it should ), you shouldn't check inside the GSX sub-key but, as I've said, main FSDreamTeam key which should contain the "root" entry, which should point to the install folder.

Are you maybe staring GSX from a different user than the one that ran the installer ? And, of course, does the C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager folder exists ?

yes that folder exists and is accessable from my user ands not only from admin.
Could it be possible that theres a problem because I run Microsoft Flight Sim under my own user and the installation has to be permitted by administrator

I am running gsx from my user account and i ran the installer under this account too but I had to put in the admin password to be able to install it

So your normal user account is limited ?

I think the easiest solution is just giving you admin rights on your user, then reinstall everything again. A whole lot of products will start working so much better after that.

Could I try transferring the keys to my user account?

I had a similar problem trying to install the justflight hawk t1a, I moved the whole microsoft flight simulator to the admin account and then abck to my user account, is that a possibility?

Please don't do anything other than what I said to do. Moving the whole simulator seems to be unnecessary long, risky and not required, when I only said to grant you admin accounts, and reinstall the FSDT Installer and GSX.
