Good Engine Start Voice
« on: October 02, 2022, 08:01:03 pm »
Good day,

Is there anyway to change the hideous American voice that announces "Good engine Start" it kills the immersion when flying for a UK/EU airline? I can't find the sound files to edit it myself.

Regards.

Yes, especially when you're flying in in Europe, just kills the immersion.

The voices that announces "Good Engine Start" it's supposed to be "you", the pilot so, it couldn't be selected with the same logic as the other voices, which are local to the airport.

Ideally, GSX should probably have some setting indicating which language YOUR pilot speaks, and if it's Male of Female, and then we can add multiple regional/gender variations for it, like the other voices.

That would be perfect if that could be done. I only ever fly in Europe. It's just  a bit jarring when everything else is using a regional accent then Steve the pilot chirps up out of nowhere.

I have found the sound file and I have muted it, so that's fixed my issue.
