Workaround for GSX

With the problem we're having with GSX, It seems like a FULL reinstall will solve the issue. Yeah I know, "Everbody reinstalled already" but on the contrary, we are reinstalling the wrong way.

1) Remove ALL FSDT sceneries and Addon Manager from the Prepar3D v5 Add-ons or v4 folder.



2) Uninstall GSX and ALL FSDT Sceneries installer.

3) Rename the virtuali folder to (Virtuali_ORG) or drag it to the desktop.  (Location: AppData\Roaming)



4) DELETE or RENAME the Addon Manager Folder located C:\Program Files (x86)


5) Reinstall the latest GSX and sceneries which will also install the latest FSDT Installer.

6) Now simply goto the original Virtuali folder that we renamed and MOVE the GSX .ini files into the NEW Virtuali\GSX folder created.

Everything back to normal on my end. It seems like the original Virtuali folder located AppData\Roaming and the Addon Manager folder was the culprit. No errors or reactivation reqested when loading the sim.

That fixes it for FSDT sceneries only though.

GSX still doesn’t work on most FlyTampa or UK2000 products.

I'll load up and check FlyTampa and UK2000.

EDIT:  It's working with FlyTampa and UK2000.

Please run the FSDT Live Update now, because we found an issue that resulted in an airport custom profile not being loaded.

Uk2000 Gatwick works fine for me too.

Try Heathrow and stansted. Both don’t work for me.

FlyTampa Dubai works for me but I don’t have any animated jetways.
