Doors automatically close after boarding
« on: August 29, 2022, 02:03:00 pm »
Hi,

Is there a way to stop the doors closing and stairs moving away once boarding is complete.
Literally the second the last passenger walks on the doors close.

In reality there is a good while before the doors close waiting for stray passengers and paperwork.

Thanks

I have the same problem. I would like this to be an action on my part! When it's the catwalks it remains in contact with the plane after the end of boarding but when it's the stairs each time they close the doors and remove the stairs it's painful... How can we fix this? I use the fenix A320

+1. It‘s in the same ballpark as the cockpit & cabin crew boarding 30sec before the passengers arrive. It‘s just an unrealistically timed sequence of events.

Hello,
Maybe it is possible to divide crew + pilots and passengers.
It should be possible to do the following:
1. attach jetway or stair(s)
2. call for pilots and crew so that they can prepare the plane for boarding.
3. call for fuel
4. call for catering
5. call for passengers and loading of luggage.
6. ...
Could you separate these actions ?
Best regards.
Eddy.

We already confirmed, multiple times, that the option to not Board Crew and Pilots will come with an update.

Sorry Virtuali but that doesn't answer our question...

How to make so that at the end of boarding the stairs remain sticking to the plane? Wait for an action on our part (closing the doors, or asking for the push back) so that the stairs start at that moment and not just after the last passenger entering the plane ?

Of course it does, it answers the question "Maybe it is possible to divide crew + pilots and passengers." made earlier.

The problem is, people in this thread are reporting this as if was a big problem, when this is how GSX always worked in years. We'll look into that, but please don't assume everything is a "problem"

Ok thank you.

It's been a long time since I've used P3D so I don't have to remember it anymore.
But if in a future update we could have the stair glued like the catwalks at the end of the boarding that would be perfect. Basically wait for action from us for the PAX door closures.

Thanks again and sorry if this wasn't an issue but an update as this isn't just about me.
