Thank you Umberto for your reply, although it does not fill me with confidence if you are suggeating I should make a backup....

Re-ready my last sentence: it started with "the definition of "major" and "broken" is so highly subjective", that's why what for me is a minor issue, for you might not, and THAT'S why I suggested to do a backup.

Please post the couatl.log after this happen.

I hate these annoying voiceovers

Can't obviously report this as a "bug", we confirmed multiple times an option to disable those will be added.

Fslabs interaction is totally messed now

Clearly explain what do you mean.

sode vgds are not working on arrival

SODE VGDS are not controlled by GSX.

deboard crew popup window

What about it ? Users have been asking for that feature for years, now you got it, it's a "bug" ?

5. did I say bug?  :) as I said in other thread I expect not to have this window if pilots/crew not deboarding lvar set to 1.

The Live Update has never been "broken", of course, there are still some issues left, which are being looked at, and some changes some users don't like, but in P3D V5 there aren't any major problems.

Thank you Umberto! At least this is what i wanted to hear when i start this thread and meanwhile i can confirm this is correct. I´ve updated my GSX and it works well as before in P3D from A to Z, with those changes. So it proofs, that GSX for itself "can" and does work quite well, if nothing else is causing weird issues, depending in the individual setups.

Honestly i´am really unhappy about some post in the forum and the way some people might think they are on the right side by the way how they articulate their "opinion" in such an anger. They are NOT! In general we all need to stay a little more calm and be patient, not just claiming aristocratic customer rights.
Yes, i totally agree, it IS extremely annoying if you just want to jump into a nice Sunday afternoon SIM session and GSX doesn´t act as at should or exspected. But there is also a positive portion, because it shows how much we are familar with GSX and how much of immersion is gone if it´s not "just there".  This reminds me about the importance of this great add-on.

Sometimes it takes some more additional steps to get something perfect again. But this is how life goes. Just be a little bit more patient and fair. In my case i´ve bought a product for about 28 Euros something 4 years ago, which was constantly evolved meanwhile and got additional features like PBR, and army of pax enter my ac, walkin gates etc. And all of it for NEVER PAY AN ADDITIONAL FEE!
I would be surprised if my car manufacturer would provide me some new car add-ons for my payed car, just for nothing. Instead, i even have to pay for the fuel myself. >:(

Remind yourself how much you appreciate the simple existence of GSX at all, and treat people and developers the same way you expect to be treated.  ;)

wreck sound whenever pushback vehicle connected/disconnected.

Please clarify.

And please stop continue soliciting answers. Bugs are fixed when they are. On our own pace, when we find them and allowing time to replicate and fix them. The last 3 updates had more fixes for P3D than MSFS.

With all due respect, I will stop asking for answers as soon as you stop ignoring. Any reaction would be appreciated. Thanks.

As for the issue, when the tug is connected and pushback initiated one can hear the sound of a crash or a drop. As if airplane fell down. same happens when the tug is being disconnected. experiencing this with fslabs and pmdg airplanes.

SODE VGDS are not controlled by GSX.

They certainly were activated upon arrival prior to the Sep18 update.

This is an issue that I have as well. I think what is happening is that GSX is no longer animating the lifting and lowering of the nosewheel by the heavy tug. That sound is the slew mode activating and deactivating when this action is performed.

The update hasn't changed anything related to the way GSX and SODE work, if only because, with SODE not existing on MSFS, there was no reason to touch that part of the code.

This is the exact same issue I am having after the update . Please look into it ….

I cant even use the pushback with the TDS 787 now since it starts bouncing as soon as the pushback connects.  Doesn't matter which pushback it is.  Before the Sept update, it was fine.  This is the only one ive tried so far since ive been busy.  Attached my log file.

I'm so relieved that nobody else has my problem, I must have misunderstood other posts.

The evidence I provided in the form of screenshots do help to explain what's happening, as they say a picture paints a thousand words. So I can't see why you feel they are offensive, it was being used to explain my situation, admittedly I should have included the log as well, which was an oversight on my behalf.

I have gone through all the previous steps as before to see if I can replicate the problem with the add-on entries disappearing and none of the GSX menus coming up in P3D and the results were the same. I would like to say that prior to around about the time of the MSFS release everything was working perfectly and had been for years, it only all went wrong when I ran a live update.

Over the years I have updated P3D and GSX on multiple occasions and this kind of thing has never happened before it has always been straightforward.

Since then I have completed multiple uninstalls and reinstalls of GSX but cannot get it to work, I do have MSFS installed on my PC but am not using GSX with that, only P3D. Nothing else on my system has changed since GSX was working properly.

My situation is the same as yours, I am P3Dv5, there is a GSX option on the menu, pull down to start GSX, but nothing happens. But I also installed GSX PRO with MSFS on my computer. I don't know if there is any conflict. Is your problem solved?

It's not an option in the settings, it's an extra question made when Boarding or Deboarding. Provided, of course, the airplane code hasn't already set that option itself. In that case, the airplane code has the priority.
