How many updates?

Via the FSDT Installer GSX Pro seems to have a lot of updates available with the "Update" button constantly available?

How updates are there for GSX Pro?

"Update" really means "Update check" but that there are actually files downloaded would be wrong according to Umberto (only if there is an update).
We're still awaiting an answer for the problem of the endless download.

As you can see, it's not a problem, in fact, it's a indication the Live Update is working, but cannot get the files because your local cloudflare node hasn't completed the replication yet.

That's why we posted the offline installer:

To give you an ALTERNATE way of getting the same files you were supposed to get online. The cloudflare nodes will all eventually sync, and this will manifest as with the Live Update stopping downloading the "same files over and over".

Thank you Umberto. I actually read that thread but thought this would fix problems with the engine as the title suggested so I skipped it and didn't think this would also "fix" the endless downloads.

Only use the offline installer, which is surely the latest version, the .EXE I posted earlier was just a test to get feedback from users.

I have the same issue.
Already use the offline installer

I have made a video where you can see, that GSX is updating and updating again and again.
It is boring to see, but you can skip of course to see, that after the first update cycle, it starts again after clicking update.

You're not supposed to use FSDT Installer after you've used the offline installer. The offline installer will install the most current files, while the FSDT Installer (online) might still fetch older files. When they're checked again the installer knows that there are more recent files and downloads files, but as not all nodes have the current ones available it fetches what it can get and those are outdated files (resulting in this infinite loop).

It is working, despite that it looks like there's the same repeated updates.  Umberto has explained that your system will only install the new files that it needs.  Trust me it works.  Just to be on the safe side, I temporarily disabled my firewall just in case when I ran the update. I've been running the FSDT Live Update on a daily basis, as I want the latest and greatest fixes.  It's getting better by the day.
