Crash when selecting Pushback
« on: May 20, 2020, 09:35:31 pm »
Hi there, maybe you can help here: I now tried twice flying the novel QW787 out of VHHH from T2G using their "default" SODE Jetways. Twice the sim crashed to desktop the moment I clicked on "request pushback and startup" in the GSX Level 2 menue. This is what the eventlog shows:

Name der fehlerhaften Anwendung: Prepar3D.exe, Version: 5.0.24.34874, Zeitstempel: 0x5eab3677
Name des fehlerhaften Moduls: VCRUNTIME140.dll, Version: 14.26.28720.3, Zeitstempel: 0x5e74aeb1
Ausnahmecode: 0xc0000005
Fehleroffset: 0x000000000000137b
ID des fehlerhaften Prozesses: 0x5d0
Startzeit der fehlerhaften Anwendung: 0x01d62eda314defb5
Pfad der fehlerhaften Anwendung: D:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Prepar3D.exe
Pfad des fehlerhaften Moduls: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\VCRUNTIME140.dll
Berichtskennung: 24b6eb69-1630-4a7d-8695-4b48d571f84a
Vollständiger Name des fehlerhaften Pakets:
Anwendungs-ID, die relativ zum fehlerhaften Paket ist:

In between, I downloaded the runtimes again from the MS homepage, both the 64bit and the 32bit and reinstalled them. The error persists. What could be the issue here? Is it QW or GSX Level 2? I am lost, thanks for any hint,

Regards
Chris

Problem solved, it was a full VRAM. Now with Windows 10 2004, no issues anymore. BTW, I was at about 8.6GB of VRAM when the problems occurred, way before the sim actually closed itself with the known VRAM message.
