Passengers partly visible in solid jetway
« on: April 01, 2019, 02:29:56 pm »
Hi, good day everybody, I am new to GSX and GSX2, so forgive me if this has been covered before.
I have had many years of FS 9 and 9.1 and AES but new to Prepar3d v4.4.
I have also GSX, GSX2, SODE and most of UK2002 airports for UK. Nothing else.
At Gatwick gate 112 in an Airbus 119 (does not matter which airline) I get passengers feet visible, and bodies partly visible as they walk down/up the solid jetway.
I have tried moving the jetway a few feet in either direction , but that has no effect on the passengers.
Is there a solution please ??
Best regards, Martin.

Please indicate the precise model of the jetway you used.

Thanks for your reply, I assume it is a sode jetway.
I now have further problems in that Couatl quits every few seconds.
If I could find how to post the error I would do so.
I have a scenario of Prepar3d v4.4, Gatwick gate 112, Airbus 319, Sode, GSX and GSX2, UK2000 airport for Gatwick.
I can have either UK2000 airports OR GSX running but not both. I have posted a further question on this forum.
I do need help in fixing this problem, I seem to be going round in circles getting further and further into deep water !!!!!
I have uninstalled PrePar3d, Sode, UK2000 airports, GSX and GSX2 and reinstalled several times.
Hoping you can help.
Best regards, Martin.

Of course it's a SODE jetway, otherwise you wouldn't see any passengers to begin with. That's why I asked the precise, exact, model used. It's a SODE jetway you added ? It's coming with the scenery ? It's part of a GSX customization file made by another user you downloaded ?

If you have an error message, then just post what it says. Errors are also recorded in this file:

%APPDATA%\VIRTUALI\Couatl.ERR

Try to remove your customization, the file *.ini for that airport located in %APPDATA%\Virtuali

That seems to have fixed the problem for me. I have renamed the file.
I have also altered the settings inside the jetway.cfg to hide the passengers.
Many thanks for your help.
Best regards, Martin.
