Entering passenger numbers when boarding.
« on: February 04, 2019, 06:55:14 am »
I don't know if this is a common problem but when the dialogue for entering the passenger numbers appears, my PC will not accept the keypad entry, only the top  keyboard numbers. However, the dialogue will not accept any number higher than "6". So if I have a 747 with 394 passengers, I can only enter a maximum of 366.
Is this just my system or what could be the problem?
Any suggestions welcome.

Ian, I've just seen your post after posting my own. 6 and 7 keys aren't being recognsied by GSX.
Cheers,
Ray.

I checked this, and I can confirm GSX accepts all numeric keys without any issues, since I can enter 67, 167 or 367 passengers here.

Whenever you have a keyboard problem, it's never GSX (it cannot be, we don't even try to read the keyboard directly...), but it's always another addon that must have already taken those key, so you must find which one it is, and change they hotkey assignments in that addon to prevent the conflict.

Problem solved. It was indeed another program: in this case Radar Contact had unused keys, which I have now re-allocated.
