No GSX??.. It just disappeared from my P3Dv4.3... Please Help!

I have a legitimate copy of GSX that I purchased through SimMarket on August 11th, 2018. I was working great. I did an update with the FSDT Live Update and it is now gone. In fact, the Manager is gone also and I have no way to check the registration. None of my airports are working... They are not loading. What happened? How do I fix this?

This happened to me tonight too, I really don't know how we can fix this. Everything was completely fine before the I updated today.

Same on my end.

Addon Manager menu option missing and none of my scenery will load.

Closed and rebooted.
Double checked antivirus exclusions.
Reran auto-updater.
No dice.

Oddly enough my SODE module appears to be testing normal.

That's likely the antivirus fault that, just because we updated Couatl.exe, is mistakenly assuming it might be a threat.

- Restart Windows

- Configure the Antivirus to exclude the whole Addon Manager from scanning.

- Run the Live Update again.

Hello, I have the same problem but with FSX SP2.
Tried the proposed solution, did not work.

To describe the problem more exact:
- couatl.exe is loaded by exe.dll, I see it in the windows 7 task manager running.
- in FSX taskbar, under add-on there are no entries "Add-on Manager", "Couatl" and "GSX" with their corresponding submenus as it used to be.

It started today, after the last update via Live Update, yesterday all good. Hope it helps.

I can confirm the previous post. Couatl.exe is indeed running, but nothing appears in the SIM (in my case FSX).  Happened after yesterday's update.

I'm sorry, but I tried it again, with FSX-SE, no problems whatsoever.

Have you see a request from the sim to trust the two updated files (Addon Manager and Couatl ) ? If you haven't seen any request, that's almost certain the problem is the antivirus, which blocked the files before they even start to run.

If got the request, have you replied Yes to it ?

If you don't remember, do this:

- Uninstall something from FSDT, like GSX, and reply YES to the question "Do you want to remove the Addon Manager ?"

- Reinstall GSX.

Yes, I have seen the request and clicked on yes. I even deleted it from trusted list to confirm it once more and check.

I’ve tried the instructions as well, still no luck. I’m convinced it has to do with this update though as I’m not the only one having the issue and the fact that I have had no issues with the Addon Manager or any FSDT products ever in the past.

Same here. Win7, P3D v4.3. Nothing in the menu, no FSDT airports, Couatl crash on exit. Here's the Log:

I am also having the same issue. After I ran the live update, my GSX and along with the airport scenery disappeared. I uninstalled and reinstalled (along with the live update, I restarted my computer, I excluded the folders and files from my antivirus. Nothing changed, still the same.

I can only repeat and confirm the problem doesn't happen here. Please follow my previous instructions to the letter, including a Windows restart:

- Restart Windows

- Configure the Antivirus to exclude the whole Addon Manager from scanning.

- Run the Live Update again.

And I can only repeat I HAVE NO ANTIVIRUS running to block it. Worked fine until update ran yesterday.
