GSX Level 2 Control Panel silent crash on launch

No matter how hard I've tried, I can't get the Control panel to launch. Looking in event viewer, after I launch it, I get a KERNELBASE.dll error. I have tried re-running live update countless times, as well as a full reinstall of GSX/Addon Manager. I've tried everything that I could think of/found on the forums, but none of them have worked. You like have some issues with some of your simulator registry entries. Have you used something like a Migration too, maybe in the past ?

No, I've never used the migration tool. I used to have an FSX:SE install, but I have removed it. I also searched through my registry and removed all pointers to the old path, so I doubt that is still an issue.

Are you sure you searched *all* of them ?

yup, none of those keys exist in my registry.

The other simulators, like P3D 1, 2, 3 or 4 ? (assuming they are missing), or the FSX Steam one ?

The only entries that exist are for P3D v3 and v4, as those are the two simulators I have installed
