Airport Scenery Cache doesnt work

I have installed the latest GSX as to requirements with no Antivirus. All the menus show in FSX:SE Couatl and Scenery Object Display shows working in Task Manager. CTRL+SHIFT+F12 doesnt work either. Is a real shame used to work a few months back. Please help.

Nothing in your error log shows anything related to the airport cache. Instead, it's seems there's a problem with your FSX.CFG, which is missing the lines added by our installer to let it find FSX objects.

Do you have some external addon that has reset the FSX.CFG file ? Of you reset/edit it yourself ? In that case, reinstalling GSX after the FSX.CFG is being reset to default SHOULD fix the problem but, if your FSX.CFG is *corrupted* instead, our installer won't touch it, hence the error.

So, first try to reinstall GSX. If that doesn't work, post your FSX.CFG in ZIP form, as an attachement, and I'll look at it, to see if there's a problem with it.

The file is located under %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX, on a stand-alone (no old FSX) installation.

Hi here is my FSX.cfg Attached. Hope you can help and thank you for your reply.
Hopefully there's a way to fix this as now the SHIFT+CTRL+F12 menu works and shows but when I choose an option thats now when the error comes up.
I really dont want to result in uninstalling all my add-ons and FSX because I have loads installed as every simmer knows how tedious it is

Yes, your FSX.CFG file is wrong, because it's missing the line added by our installer.

I made a typo in my previous post and said "try to reinstall FSX", when in fact I wanted to say "try to reinstall GSX", because the GSX installer will restore that missing line. If that doesn't work, report back.

I see you have FSX:SE

Do you also have or *used* to have the regular FSX installed at some time then you uninstalled it ?

If yes, it's possible your registry is wrong instead, and FSX:SE is still acting AS IF it was running together with the regular FSX still installed so, the configuration used by FSX is instead here:

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX-SE\FSX_SE.CFG

If you don't have that file, disregard all of this and just reinstall GSX, which should fix your problem.
