Parking System Now Tied To Aircraft?
« on: October 30, 2017, 08:35:22 pm »
Hi everybody,

I am on P3D V4.1 with newest version of GSX (2.2).
First of all: Thanks for this great software! I love it!

Now to my question. In the newest version the position of the parking system seems to be tied to the aircraft, which was not the case before the update. If I want to move the parking system (e.g. safedock) the aircraft (in my case FSL A320) follows the safedock system so that the distance is always the same. This is not desireable in some (actually most) situations. Why has that feature been changed or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

This has been already discussed here:

So no, the parking system is not "tied" to the airplane, it's just how the editor move the plane to let you use the plane itself as a visual reference against other objects, but you are still free to change the stop position independently, and the plane will also move back with it.

Oh allright, this actually sounds like a long wanted improvement. I have just yet to understand how to use this properly but I will get there.

Thanks a lot Umberto!
