The GFX menu box does not appear anymore on FSX - Steam

For a bit, CYVR FS Steam was stopping FSX ton run, indicating in a message window that system has run out of memory. So I bought more memory, to 22 go and it was still doing the same thing. I reloaded the CYVR and by mistake, I did not say yes to run GSX. Since that time, it says that GSX is active but when I punch Cntrl + F12, the menu box still does not open...

I went on the Forum for an identical problem and it suggested to find the file %APP... .ini, but I cannot find the file in question. Can you help me?

Thanks, I just disactivated CYVR but the GSX since does not work...

First, buying extra RAM for a 32 bit sim is almost a complete waste of money, since a 32 app will never, ever, see more than 4GB of RAM. The only benefit of adding extra RAM, is that other running applications will use it so, if you run FSX together with other external programs (which includes the OS itself and all the background running processes), performances will be a bit better, but the sim itself will still exhaust memory, if you keep your settings too high.
