I suggest reading the manual at Page 24, the explanation of the "airport_visibility" command, which is used to deal with 3rd party airports containing auxiliary airports (helipads, seaplane bases, etc.) very close or inside the main one.

What operating system are you using? You have to turn on hidden files and folders. Windows 10 you find the file in c:\users\yourusername\appdata\local\virtuali

It's not possible to help you without knowing which changes you made.

airport_visibility_eddm = 0.4  (CHANGE MADE HERE)

This means you disabled GSX on any airport with an ICAO of EDDM.

As explained in the manual, the airport_visibility parameter is supposed to be used when an auxiliary airport has a DIFFERENT ICAO from the main one, usually a fictional one, so you must disable (or reduce the range, to use both) of that one, using its code, not the code of the main airport.

I cannot possibly know without knowing how the Aerosoft EDDM scenery was made. Did they use some fictional ICAO codes for auxiliary airports ? If yes, you must find which codes they used, and use those in the airport_visibility command, as explained on the GSX manual, Page 24.

The manual makes an example using an OrbX scenery, so it should be very easy to do the same on any other airport that use the same fictional ICAO method.
