GSX - No Gate Options **SOLVED*
« on: February 09, 2017, 08:45:47 pm »
Good evening

Been having many of the same problems affecting others with GSX randomly not appearing since the recent update. However I have another problem, not sure if it is related.

When GSX is working it's not giving me the usual gate options, as if I'm not actually parked at a gate. If I look at the GSX menu and 'Customise airport positions' then although I am using (in this case) Aerosoft's EGLL, the AFCAD it seems to be looking at is the default one.

Tried it at various add-on airports - same result. Also tried re-installing GSX, no change.

Is there an easy solution for this?

Luke

Try the Restart and Rebuild Airport cache from the Couatl menu.

Thanks for the suggestion, just tried that - no change.

Also, tried restarting P3d - still no change.

Any other suggestions?

Try to enable Logging, Restart and Rebuild the cache, then exit and check the Couatl.LOG made immediately after the cache rebuilding session. It should tell you something about why the airport might have been rejected.

Many thanks for all your help Umberto.

Thought I'd try one final uninstall/reinstall, just incase. Seems to have done the trick, normal operation has resumed!

Will post back if the problem reappears...

Thanks again

Luke
