Skipped, likely too big to be an airport
« on: January 02, 2017, 10:46:40 am »
Hello all and happy new year.

I am getting the message on the LOG of "skipped, too likely too big to be an airport". I tried to follow the link to the answered topic in the forum but it appears to be offlimits for me.

Also I tried to set the parameter of airportCacheMaxBGLSizeBytes but is not making any difference.

Any help please?  ;D ;D

Hi,

Had the same issue, but it seems you have not set properly the parameter:

I have set: "airportcachemaxbglsizebytes = 10000000"

No capitals.

That didn't make any difference either  ???

Maybe I have set the parameter in the wrong place?

It will surely do, but you must set it higher than the size of the sceneries that gives you the warning.

I have set: "airportcachemaxbglsizebytes = 10000000"

No capitals.

That's the mistake: assuming that the keyword is not case-sensitive, when it is. It must be IDENTICAL (case included) to the one indicated in the manual and the one discussed in the forum:

You're right. I made a mistake because this parameter is repeated in the "CouatlAddons.ini" file, but with no capitals at all. I have set it time ago the right way in the Couatl.ini file.
