GSX COUATL CRASH....

hi,
one succesful FSX flight with GSX!!!!
When I start the second, couatl-engine crashes, without error-log
Windows reports error in python27.dll
Now I download gsx_fsx_setup.exe the 3rd time and run it the 6th time....
Can anyone help???

Do you have an example on a default airport, or a freeware one, or something from FSDT or Flightbeam maybe ?

I´m so frustrated: new circumstances

1. installed the setup again
2. default AirCreation Trike, at default KFJK 4L
3. changed airport EDDF 2.0, RWY 25L
4. changed aircraft PMDG MD-11
5. Re-start flight, back in KJFK
6. checked live-update and re-installed newest update
7. checked GSX sound settings -> no audio device
8. restart couatl and repeat audio diagnostic checks
9. checked GSX sound settings -> audio device found
10. press ok -> back to FSX -> ERROR COUATL ENGINE

ok, I could replicate the last error
1. installed the setup again
2. default AirCreation Trike, at default KFJK 4L
3. checked GSX sound settings -> no audio device
4. restart couatl and repeat audio diagnostic checks
5. checked GSX sound settings -> choose audio device from list
6. press ok -> back to FSX -> ERROR COUATL ENGINE

Why not start with the plane you want at the airport you want? You could eliminate about eight of those ten steps.

Ok, we'll check this, because it seems there might be a problem (which could or could not be a problem in our code, because it relies on audio drivers) when switching a sound device while in FSX.

Does it work if you don't touch the audio device in GSX ? If you want to change it, it's safer to change it, exit from FSX and start it again.

started with PMDG 747 at UK2000 Heathrow Gate 332
hasta la vista COUATL.....
have to install it again................

From your last crash report, you weren't using the latest Couatl.exe. Many users reported no crashes with the current version.

The problem is not the installer, it's the Couatl.exe, which is downloaded automatically by the installer so, it's not relevant which installer you have, since they will all download the current Couatl.exe.

That's why you don't have to worry about checking the version yourself, or even *wondering* which one is the latest: just run the installer again, and it will download the most current version of the most important files, the one which is current the moment you run the installer.

I checked the version you had by looking at your report, which show you weren't using the latest version, surely not when you posted the error log.

If you still have errors with the current version, then please post an updated error log.

Couatl Engine crashed again
I have only an old error file, with no changes since 05.07.2014
