runtime error 216 at 0150622E

little issue ive been seeing pop up when I open fsx. it hasn't caused any crashes but it looks like its related to couatl. any thoughts on how to correct this? I should also mention that this does not happen everytime I open fsx, maybe once out of every 3 or 4 times.

No, it's not related in any way to Couatl. In fact, it's the opposite. That "runtime error" is coming from ANOTHER addon, and THAT one is CAUSING Couatl to crash.

In addition to that, you are NOT running the current version of Couatl, so I suggest reinstalling GSX or the Stand-Alone Addon Manager for FSX to get it.

updated both couatl and the addon manager. started FSX with no error YET. but i do not own FS Global Ultimate X Europe-Africa so i don't think thats the problem. what else would cause couatl to crash at start up with the default cessna, default airport, and no FSDT scenerys activated in the library? if i see the error again I will look into that microsoft link.

The FS Global was just an example of that error code. I think the likely issue is a conflict between different products using different versions of the VC++ runtime library. Or a problem with its installation, which might have been fixed by running our installer again, which will re-run the MS installer for it.
