GSX recognizes all the parkings, but they must come from a single AFCAD. If you have an additional AFCAD that enhances the default airport with just some parkings, GSX will use just that one, and only the parkings coming from it.
You can check which AFCAD is being used by GSX, by selecting customize parking position option, the name of the AFCAD in use is listed there.
