Posky 747 Nose Gear issues
« on: August 10, 2014, 05:14:08 pm »
Hi,
I have just downloaded the Boeing 747-400 Multi-Livery Boeing 747 Mega-Package Vol.5 (http://www.fs-freeware.net/item/677-fsx-boeing-747-400-multi-livery-boeing-747-mega-package-vol-5 and I am having issues with the nose gear. The nose gear appears to be buried in the ground, which results in a awkward nose down fuselage. It seems to go away during takeoff, when you raise the nose. It looks like the nose gear thinks the ground is 5 ft lower than it is. I have also had this issue with the Posky 747-100.

Please Help!

This was in the general discussion section, where you can talk about anything

Should still be FSDT related,  this is their forum.

Change the Contact points in the aircraft.cfg. That's the only advice I got, and this is a "Fsdreamteam" General Discussion Forum.

Has this ever actually been enforced? Serious question, as I noticed other posts in here that have nothing to do with FS Dreamteam. I'd think if it were an actual issue, it would be enforced.

Keeping things simple, I think average intelligence and common sense should persevere here. I also believe that out of kindness, FSDT has tolerated some degree of irrelevance for some posting. Do you honestly think that posting questions about "what kind of shingles you should put on your roof" or "how often you should bathe in a week" are relevant questions for posting in a scenery developer's forum?

Umberto doesn't enforce it like some others do, but just common courtesy.   ;)
