Pushback truck engine noise
« on: May 01, 2013, 02:55:08 am »
Hi all, would just like to know why I continue to hear the push back truck engine sound in the cockpit whilst taxiing to the take off runway and whilst waiting for my line up and wait instruction.
Cheers Rod.

make sure you set the parking brakes after pushback and wait till the ground crew "wave" you off

I get the same thing.  It's like an annoying humming noise.  It clears once I've taken off or if I select an option in the toolbar, then click back to the aircraft it goes, but that kind of ruins the consistency.

Try pushing "Q" twice to reset the sound in FSX.  It could be the famous FSX sound bug.
