Letourn, Send the my Prepar3D purchase money via PayPal - thanks.   ::) ;D

We'll wait and see. Might be worthwhile for making a 'How to Carrier Land/FCLP' instruction video perhaps? Don't know how it will work yet.... Microsoft had hopes for the FSX derivative 'ESP' (or vice versa). Ms made a great ESP 'how to carrier land their Hornet' video clip. It is in the 4.4GB PDF around page 563 or so.

The 14.7Mb PDF here at FileFront has the 'edited' Microsoft 'ESP' Hornet Training Video clip embedded in it. Perhaps 'Prepar3D' will be better?:

http://www.filefront.com/17437554/MsESPhornetCarrierTrainingDemoEdited.pdf (14.7Mb)

BEST WAY to download now from FileFront is to 'right mouse' click on the "DOWNLOAD NOW" yellow button to 'Save As...' rather than 'left mouse' click on that button. I have just tested the function to find that the PDF will download slowly but in your browser window which is problematic to watch the video if you do not then SAVE the PDF to your computer. Exit the browser window PDF and then open the saved PDF. I'm using the latest Adobe Reader 9.4 which has a lot of security features. Best always to use latest version.

Add-ons - Overview

http://www.prepar3d.com/products/add-ons/

"Prepar3D™ has the capability of being enhanced by adding add-ons of Aircraft, Scenery, Missions and more. Here we provide a library where you can select add-ons to improve your Prepar3D™ experience.  Prepar3D™ is fully compatible with FSX SP2 add-ons, including freeware and payware applications.

Add-On Installation Steps

To install aircraft add-ons for Prepar3D™, a number of files must be copied to existing Prepar3D™ folders. In most cases, it is not appropriate overwrite any files (i.e., if a file with the same name as one being copied already exists in the directory, do not overwrite the existing file with the new one).

Most aircraft add-ons come with the following folders:

An ‘Aircraft_Name’ folder named according to the aircraft’s name (e.g., F-35 Lightning II)
A folder containing Prepar3D™ Gauge files called, “Gauges”
The Aircraft_Name folder and all of its contents should be copied to the following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D\SimObjects\Airplanes

Only the contents of the second folder (usually *.cab, *.dll, and/or *.gau files) should be copied to the following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D\Gauges

Some aircraft add-ons include *.fx files (usually located in a folder named “Effects”). For such add-ons, the contents of the “Effects” folder should be copied to the following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D\Effects

I wonder if NFA would be interested in the FSXNP FCLP/DL LSO innovations?  ;D

Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D® Software to Soar at National Flight Academy
ORLANDO, Fla., June 13th, 2011 -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will provide its Prepar3D ® visual simulation software to power the National Flight Academy’s (NFA) immersive aviation experience as part of the academy’s hands-on approach to teaching the principles of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to students.

“We believe in the mission of the National Flight Academy, which couples STEM curriculum with aviation to inspire youth about technological careers,” said Dale Bennett, president of Lockheed Martin’s Global Training and Logistics business. “With the call from our nation’s leadership – and that of our own corporation– to reinvigorate America’s innovative spirit, we feel it is a great opportunity to support an organization with such a vital cause.”

The NFA is designed to address the concerns of declining STEM skills and standards in our country by providing immersive high-tech adventures that combine classroom math and science fundamentals with hands-on aviation experiences. Prepar3D ® is visual simulation software that brings immersive game-based technology to training, experiential learning and decision and performance support for non-government, government and commercial organizations.

For NFA, Lockheed Martin will donate copies of Prepar3D ®, upgradable as new product versions are launched. In addition to providing immersive software to facilitate the students’ learning, Lockheed Martin has donated more than $2 million to the NFA.

“The National Flight Academy’s mission is to educate youth on the fundamentals of STEM, and to do that it is critical we provide valuable learning experiences,” said Vice Admiral Gerald Hoewing, president of the National Flight Academy. “This project can’t happen without companies like Lockheed Martin.”

Prepar3D ® is based on the Microsoft ESP ™ Flight Simulator product line and is compatible with add-on software created for ESP ™. On the web site, www.prepar3d.com, users can get the software as well as download a software development kit to create add-ons such as aircraft, instruments, boats, buildings and other environmental features...."
