Bulding computer

Hi im wondering if sombody could help i am looking at bulding a computer for Fsx and Microsofts Flight when it comes out. I have budget of £1500.00 to £2000.00 to spend what would be the best set up please.
Would a i7 core 980x do with a Ati 5870 work well together. And whats the most the i7 could be clocked at, am new to this so could you help please.
