GSX in-game menu will not open.

The past few versions of GSX, ever since the Fenix A320 Passenger update, GSX refuses to load. It just sits on the loading screen and spins, mocking me xD. As I am writing this report, I am staring at the spinning dial on my other screen. I have completely removed GSX from my system, deactivated it and then reinstalled it, reactivated it and nothing. Latest version 3.0.9 still will not load. Restarting the Couatl engine manually, as well as closing the program down and restarting it does not work. Restarting the sim does not work. If I do get it to work for whatever reason, I get one chance to open the menu. After that, it will not reopen no matter what I do. During that one attempt, it will not operate any services, but will spawn one cargo loader that is all in pink. Again, I am on the latest version, 3.0.9 and it says 'Active' and 'Installed' on the FSDT Installer.

Seeing same thing since version 3.0.9. Both processes running in background but in-sim menu and in-sim menu toolbar icon are gone. Reboot of computer and running live update again did not solve issue. GSX menu will not show up in the in-game panel and GSX menu no longer works. The stupid forum is refusing to allow the coualt file to be uploaded even though it is txt file so it is copy and pasted below.

About the "stupid forum", it would of course let you upload ZIP files, which is of course what we suggest to do in the Sticky thread "How to report an error".

About your log, it shows the restarter didn't restart because either:

- MSFS wasn't detected to be running

OR

- You exited the Couatl engine manually from the Traybar icon, so it's normal in this case it wouldn't try to restart.

But what is puzzling, is that you are missing a line in the log, which would tell me exactly which one of these two reasons were detected ( MSFS not running, or you explicitly exit ), which suggest you might not have the latest version of the Couatl64_boot.exe, which of course is not normal, since it's updated together with the rest of the files in the Addon manager\Couatl64 folder.

So, before doing anything else, be sure you run the FSDT Update, and post a new log, because there must the extra diagnostic in the current version you don't have.

I actually fixed my issue. Took a shot in the dark and followed this thread https://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,26933.0.html and it worked.

As for the log, I just copied the .log file and turned it into a .doc file as it is one of the supported documents that can be uploaded. Umberto, I am not sure if you saw my log, but my issue has been resolved. Can't speak for the other guy. He may want to try following the instructions I link above.
