waiting for your confirmation for good engine start in icing conditions

so since i'm supposed to wait with starting engines until push is complete, i have to endure constant beeping for the entire engine startup procedure, it is getting on my nerves. is there not an option to disable, or even increase the duration between every beep? even during normal startup, the beeping is constant and extremely irritating.

In the GSX Settings in the "Timing" section there's a "Interval between “Waiting for your action” messages" option where you can set the time between these prompts. I think it also affects the one that you are writing about.
Try raising that and see if it helps.

The fact that it doesn't affect ALL the prompts (e.g. it does not change the interval of the voice saying to use the aircraft system to load fuel) results in my vague statement. But I set the timing to 600 seconds and never had the prompt in icing conditions repeatedly.
