Even if you can call a Jetway from the GSX menu, it doesn't mean GSX is controlling it. The only thing GSX does when you operate a jetway from the GSX menu, is sending the standard JETWAY TOGGLE event to the simulator so, it will be exactly as if you called the Jetway from the default Ground Services menu of the standard ATC menu.

If a jetway connect correctly or not, depends only by:

- How the jetway has been modeled

- How the jetway has been placed

- The airplane doors location ( the one in the aircraft .cfg files )

- The airplane parking position in relationship to the jetway.

The last point if the one you might use GSX to help you: by editing the custom Stop position in the GSX airport profile, if you are using a GSX parking system ( Marshaller or VGDS ) to park, it will guide you there so, if you tested the Stop position to be in a place where the jetway might work better, it's the only place where you can improve how jetways connects.

Of course, changing the position can only get you so far, because the most important things that affect how good ( or bad ) a jetway work, is how has been modeled.
