Error with FSDT Installer

Hello;

When trying to use the FSDT Installer to install GSX Pro and World of Jetways I get this message in the installer. I have tried reinstalling the installer with no luck.

The problem doesn't have anything to do with the installer ( other than it should probably be able to defend itself against a faulty EXE.XML without crashing ), it's caused by an error in your EXE.XML: multiple roots elements in this case, which are illegal in XML.

We can fix the error on our side, but it would still result in some error message saying the EXE.XML is corrupted and won't be modified.

EDIT:

The installer has been updated to prevent the error from crashing, so it should report the problem with your EXE.XML so you could fix it.

So I deleted the EXE.XML file all together as I could not find a problem with it. All it did was start FSUIPC, FSRealistic and steam. When I try to install GSX now all it does is put the files in place but doesn't show as installed and does not show up in MSFS.

here also, the  Installer doesn´t install GSX PRO correctly, something is going wrong since the update to SU10. probabily the exe.xml.... somehow.

Do you have the MSFS Community folder on an external drive formatted as ExFat ?

No, I have it on a M.2 drive.

Have you checked today's update release notes ? We have an updated installer, try that one.

The updated installer worked!!! Thank you very much as I own 4 of your airports and this just adds to them.
