Idea to fix nose dip at touchdown
« on: February 05, 2010, 06:31:49 pm »
The nose in the F/A-18 always seems to deep way too much during a trap.  Maybe some of the coders could make the nose gear more stiff to prevent this?

Guys,

I like this.  How do I get it?  And what else is different about that Hornet?  Better engine settings?  Can I play multiplayer with it?  I'm waiting for next month when I get the Superbug for FSX.  I can tell you that in Superbug for FS9 the Hornet rolls backward after trap and doesn't do the nose dip thing.

  Thanks in advance.

Paco

It's Eaglesim, it's freeware and it uses this new realistic HUD. Lot of differences like landing gear, smoke, sonic boom and so on. Just check out http://fsxproblueangels.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2558 or ask CalebATC.

Personally i've never experienced the nose dip problem with the default F18, only when landing in excess of 140KIAS does it happen.
