Thank's

The one product supports three platforms so contains all data.

For MSFS you require an additional license.

I downloaded the new installer.

With "the new installer" you mean the Offline Installer ?

the MSFS folder contains just a couple of html files, which won't be used by P3D, totaling less than 300k, and the only other MSFS-specific file which is installed in any case, if the Couatl64_MSFS executable, which of course won't be called unless you install GSX in MSFS, so it will only take about 4MB of disk space.

The Addon Manager is not a "P3D directory", it's the place where all FSDT products for every simulator are installed. You have been getting FSX-specific files there not used by P3D for years (like the 32 bit version of Couatl), nothing changed.

Perhaps, but why did it download a lot of files in an MSFS directory.
I have a 1Gb fiber, and after 20 minutes had only 3% of download....
Neairly all the files in a MSFS directory.
I stopped that mess!

You don't say which files were but, if you installed the GSX Pro for MSFS, if will try to update it, maybe because you removed some folders folders but no others, so it has detected a failed MSFS installation that needs repair.

just trying again.
I use an istaller downloaded in 2021!
At this time it's downloading for half an hour in this directory
DOWNLOADING file D:\Lockheed Martin\Addon Manager\MSFS\fsdreamteam-gsx-pro\SimObjects
I have MSFS installed, only to keep it up to date, and DO NOT use it.
I do not want any MSFS file in my P3D directory.
What is this mess! The day I decide to installe anuthing for MSFS, I want it in the proper directory in the proper SSD.
I WANT only P3D files. How can I do???????????????

One more thing : I have never been asked what I want tp install. It's my PC, and I want to be able to choose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank's

Today I uninstalled the GSX, GSXL2 and GSX Pro. Started installing again at 1:03 PM with GSX which still updating and downloading files. It is at 81% running yet and it is 2:35 PM. I wonder why it is taking so long. I will see what will be with GSXL2 and GSX Pro installation after finishing the GSX install. I have the FSX, P3Dv4, P3Dv5 and MSFS2020.

Patricio Valdes

EDIT: Installing GSX and GSXL2 ended at 3:28 PM (the installation took 2.5 hours)

Question: Should we do updates via FSDT Live Update or via FSDT Installer?

After reinstalled GSX Pro, GSX and GSXL2 I am still having issues. I invoke for GSX Customize Airport Positions, and the plane starts spinning 360 degrees for 3 seconds then it stops in a different position. Also, editing the jetway the Bridge drops down. It is a mess. I don't know why GSX installer left XPOI shown in Add-ons tab.

Please, help with this. I wouldn't like to reinstall again spending another almost four hours, please .........

What's the purposes of XPOI placed with GSX Installer? I can see XPOI in FSX, P3Dv4 and P3Dv5. I think I know how to remove it but do we need it and for what?
